Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Kavivo, an independently operated online service. Contact contact@kavivo.app with questions about the service or these Terms.
The service and your account
Kavivo turns character illustrations into animated model previews and downloadable model files. You can upload PNG, JPG, or WebP artwork, preview generated models, and edit supported layers, subject to technical limits and service quotas. PSD files are an internal working format, not a customer upload or download product.
New purchases are not available during the current preview release. You can create, preview, and edit your character for free, subject to service quotas. Existing valid download access, if any, is handled separately.
You must have legal capacity to enter into these Terms and the rights needed to submit and use your content. Keep your account access secure. Automated processing can produce errors, incomplete results, or differences between the interactive preview and the exported model. Review the preview and export description before purchasing.
Your artwork and processing permission
You retain the rights you hold in the artwork and other content you submit. You confirm that you have permission to upload, process, modify, and export that content, including permissions required from artists and other rights holders.
You give Kavivo and its infrastructure providers limited, nonexclusive permission to store, transmit, analyze, separate into layers, transform, display previews to you, and generate and deliver files as needed to provide, secure, and support the service. This does not transfer ownership of your artwork or give Kavivo a separate right to use it in advertising or public examples.
Generated elements are not guaranteed to be copyrightable, exclusive, or free of third-party claims. You remain responsible for your content and how you use the results. The applicable AI-model license provisions concerning outputs also apply; those provisions do not make model weights and customer outputs the same product.
One purchase, one original model
Purchases are not currently available. The planned paid export is a one-time purchase for one original generated model and later versions of that same model created through Kavivo’s editor. Editing remains free. A new source illustration creates a separate model. The price and purchase scope will be shown before paid exports become available.
A purchase does not include future export formats unless expressly stated. It does not promise unlimited generation, permanent online storage, uninterrupted operation, or compatibility with every third-party application. Download and keep your purchased files.
Payment, delivery, and refunds
Kavivo is not accepting new payments in the current preview release. No payment is required to create, view, or edit a preview. Before purchasing becomes available, the checkout arrangements, price, currency, taxes, total, and applicable terms will be provided.
For payment, delivery, or material export problems, contact contact@kavivo.app with the relevant order details. Our Purchases and refunds page explains how requests are reviewed. Applicable checkout terms and mandatory consumer rights remain in effect.
A fully refunded order no longer supports new download access under that order. Another valid purchase remains subject to its own entitlement. Previously downloaded files cannot be remotely recalled. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
Binding AI-model use restrictions
As a condition of using Kavivo's AI processing, you agree to comply with paragraph 5 and Attachment A of the CreativeML Open RAIL++-M and CreativeML Open RAIL-M licenses reproduced in Parts B and C of the See-through LayerDiff 3D license materials, and paragraph 5 and Attachment A of the CreativeML Open RAIL++-M license reproduced in Part C of the See-through Marigold Depth materials. These complete use restrictions are incorporated into these Terms as enforceable conditions of your use. The Marigold Open RAIL++-M license in Part B also applies as described in those materials; its template restriction list does not replace the complete Stable Diffusion 2 restrictions in Part C.
You must not use the AI functionality for uses prohibited by those restrictions. These include unlawful use; harm to minors; harmful misinformation or personal information; harassment; prohibited automated decisions, discrimination, exploitation, medical advice, and justice or law-enforcement uses. We may reject processing or suspend access where content or use violates these restrictions or infringes others' rights, subject to applicable law.
Third-party technology and compatibility
Kavivo is an independent application. References to research projects, model authors, and software libraries identify technology used by the service and do not imply sponsorship or endorsement.
Live2D and Live2D Cubism are trademarks of Live2D Inc. Kavivo is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by Live2D Inc. Live2D-compatible output is not a promise of compatibility with every application or future runtime version. Other software may have its own licensing requirements.
Support, changes, and service availability
Contact contact@kavivo.app to report service problems, infringement, or abuse, or to request help with your content or account. We may need to verify that you control the relevant account before acting.
Material changes to these Terms will have an updated effective date. We will provide notice or request renewed agreement where appropriate. Changes do not override mandatory consumer rights.
If Kavivo plans to discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice and an opportunity to download purchased files where practicable. An unexpected outage or security incident may limit that opportunity. Outstanding payment or delivery problems will be reviewed through the support and refund process; discontinuing the service does not remove mandatory consumer remedies.
